Our Story

Serena Creative Inc. is a Los Angeles-based husband & wife team providing creative services in film & video, photography & graphic design.  Although they often work separately for clients, they are thrilled when the opportunity for collaboration presents itself, and value the skills sets that each brings to a new project.

When not on assignment, they can be found exploring this great world of ours with their 5 year-old daughter and the family dog.

RIC SERENA:

Director & Editor

An award-winning editor, Ric has garnered considerable praise for his work in narrative, commercial and promotions genres for film and television. His decade-long experience in post production has given him an incredible ability to visualize an end-goal and aided his seamless transition to Director in music videos, commercials, promotions, narrative and documentary.

He prides himself on building and supporting a creative team, and values the input of every collaborator from client to viewer. He is committed to bringing a professional, creative approach to every project, on-time and within budget.

JEN SERENA: 

Photographer & Graphic Designer

With a background in events and fundraising for nonprofits, Jen understands the power of a good story, the importance of a well-kept (but flexible) timeline, and how to make an impact on a streamlined budget. 

Specializing in commercial concept-based photography, portraits and portfolio-building photos for creative professionals and talent, she brings a cinematic style to her imagery that comes alive with a detailed back story.  Her graphic design & PR experience provides a blueprint for all of her projects - to shoot and design with a target audience and communications vehicle in mind. Whether establishing an identity or promotion for a company, model or event, Jen is excited about seeing the process from concept to completion as part of a creative team.
